Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what data VPNTape handles when providing cross-border access and network acceleration subscriptions, why it is handled, and what users can do. It applies to this website’s marketing pages and user panel. Once you access a third-party payment page, that part of the process is governed by the payment provider’s privacy rules.
Account and Order Data
No email address is needed to create an account; a username and password are sufficient. Email is not required and is not a condition of using the service. If a user voluntarily provides an email address or other contact details in a support ticket, they are used only to handle that request. Please do not submit personal data unrelated to the issue.
To identify accounts, verify subscription entitlements and process payment results, the service handles account identifiers, credential verification information, plan status, cumulative data usage, order amounts, payment status and transaction references. Ticket content is used for troubleshooting and after-sales support. Do not include passwords, complete subscription links or sensitive payment credentials in tickets or screenshots.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Handling
VPNTape does not record which websites users visit or retain browsing history, destination URLs, communications content or DNS queries that could be used to reconstruct individual browsing activity. We do not create persistent connection logs containing source IP addresses, destination addresses and connection times, or link this information to accounts to build browsing profiles.
Temporary session state needed to forward a connection is used only for that active connection and released when it ends; it is not retained as a connection history. Plan usage is measured by each account’s cumulative data usage, so specific destinations do not need to be stored. Troubleshooting relies first on line status and error information users choose to provide. Website analytics are handled separately from the network connection data described above.
Website Analytics and Local Storage
Website analytics help us understand how pages are used and identify usability issues. They may include page paths, referral sources, browser and device categories, and page interaction events. Analytics are not used to reconstruct activity within subscription traffic and should not collect passwords, authentication tokens or complete subscription URLs.
Cookies and local storage support necessary session identification, login status, language preferences and interface settings. Authentication tokens may be stored in the browser’s local storage. You can clear or restrict this data in your browser settings, but doing so may require you to log in again and restore your preferences. After using a shared device, log out and clear site data. Logging out does not delete account records.
Payments and Necessary Data Sharing
The service supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers or the relevant transaction networks. We use order references and payment results to confirm entitlements and do not ask users to provide login passwords for third-party payment accounts.
Payment providers are responsible for the data they process; review their applicable rules before paying. USDT transactions may leave records on public networks, which we cannot delete. Data is shared only as necessary to deliver the service, handle user requests or meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell users’ personal data.
Retention Periods and Deletion Requests
Account data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service while the account is in use. Order and support records are retained until settlement, refunds, dispute handling and applicable legal requirements are complete. Analytics data is kept only as long as necessary for analysis, then deleted or aggregated into results that do not identify individuals. It is not retained indefinitely as individual browsing details.
Users can sign in to the panel and submit a request to access, correct or delete account data through the support ticket portal, specifying the scope of the request. We will verify account ownership before processing it. Deletion may affect the identification and future use of subscription entitlements. If pending orders or legal obligations prevent some data from being deleted, we will explain why and limit its use. Relevant data in backups is removed as backups are rotated.
Policy Updates and Privacy Questions
When this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page and the date at the top will be updated. Significant changes to processing purposes, data categories or user rights will be announced on the site or in the user panel. Where separate consent is required, simply viewing this page does not constitute authorization.
For questions about data use, retention grounds or deletion outcomes, contact us through a user panel ticket and keep the related ticket record. Service rules and refund terms are available in the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
